Community Psychiatric Centers: The Laguna Hills-based operator of acute psychiatric hospitals reported second-quarter earnings of $23.9 million, up 16% from $20.6 million in the year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 rose 15% to $102.7 million from $89.6 million. For the six-month period, earnings were $42.7 million, up 11% from $38.6 million a year earlier. Revenue increased 10% to $187.3 million from $170.3 million.
