PARIS : Focus On Cambodia

The five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council are to meet in the French capital Monday in another effort to end the 10-year-old Cambodian civil war.
It will be the first such attempt since three of the four feuding Cambodian factions signed an agreement in Tokyo last month calling for a cease-fire and establishment of a de facto temporary government prior to free elections.
But the warring factions still can’t agree on fundamental issues and are to be excluded from the Paris meeting.
