The Regional Dance America/Pacific Assn. has been given a rank of 3 on a 4-point scale by the California Arts Council. The organization, formerly known as the Pacific Regional Ballet Assn., has asked the council for $10,000 to fund a choreography conference in 1991 at UC Irvine. The ranking, given Friday, will be used to determine funding when the council meets in September. Chair of the association board is Lila Zali, founding artistic director of Ballet Pacifica.
