Wave of Bombings Kill 43 in Pakistan

HYDERABAD, Pakistan — A wave of powerful bomb blasts in and around this ethnically troubled city Sunday left at least 43 people dead and more than 155 injured, Pakistani officials said.
Police said six bomb blasts occurred within 10 minutes of each other in different areas of Hyderabad, killing 33 people and injuring 135. A seventh explosion came aboard a passenger train minutes after it left Hyderabad. At least 12 people died and more than 20 were wounded in the blast.
No one claimed responsibility for the bombings.
