Gay & Lesbian Film Fest a Hit: The eighth annual Los Angeles International Gay & Lesbian Film/Video Festival had its largest box-office return ever during its July 6-12 run at the Directors Guild, according to festival organizers. Festival director Larry Horne said the Gay & Lesbian Media Coalition-sponsored event took in $69,69 in total ticket sales and reported an audience attendance of 15,000. The hit of the festival, according to ballots handed out at the screenings: “Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit,” from the U.K.

Wrong figure--The total ticket sales for the eighth annual Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film/Video Festival, July 6-12, was almost $70,000. An incorrect figure was reported in Wednesday’s Morning Report.
