Diceon Electronics, the Irvine electronics company, reported a loss of $2.4 million for its third fiscal quarter ended June 30, compared to a loss of $1.1 million in the year-earlier period.
Sales for the quarter ended June 30 rose 14% to $31.7 million from $27.7 million.
For the nine-month period, the company lost $5.1 million, compared to a loss of $2.1 million for the year-earlier period.
Revenue rose 4% to $91.1 million from $87.9 million.
Diceon attributed the losses to insufficient sales to cover expenses, severe pricing pressure, and delays in customer shipments resulting from the consolidation of some operations.
