Misdemeanor assault and battery charges against former Cal State Fullerton basketball player Cedric Ceballos were dismissed in North Orange County Municipal Court.
Ceballos was chosen by the Phoenix Suns late in the second round of the NBA draft.
The charges, filed March 18 against Ceballos, stemmed from a March 2 incident in which Ceballos allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old former girlfriend in a school dormitory.
