Leona G. Rubin; Painter, Art Critic and Travel Writer

Leona G. Rubin, 72, painter, art critic and travel writer who contributed articles to Esquire, the Christian Science Monitor and the Los Angeles Times. Born in Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Rubin was educated at Northwestern University and the University of Florence. In addition to writing numerous articles, she wrote a book on Social Security benefits, which was published by facts on File. Her paintings were exhibited in Boston and New York. Aug. 26 in Santa Monica after a short illness.
