Watts Ailing: Pianist Andre Watts has canceled all of his September engagements due to a pinched nerve in his shoulder, according to his management. Among those engagements: his Ambassador Auditorium season opener Sept. 23, which has been postponed. A new date for the recital is to be announced. With Watts’ postponement, opening night of the 1990-91 season at the Pasadena venue will now take place Sept. 29, with the Swedish baritone, Hakan Hagegard, in recital at 8:30 p.m.
