Muir 38, Palmdale 13--Senior quarterback Sedrick Thomas completed 12 of 16 passes for 223 yards as Muir overcame a 13-0 deficit at Pasadena City College.
The Mustangs tied the score shortly before halftime and took the lead midway through the third quarter when defensive tackle Aaron Shakoor tackled Palmdale quarterback Rodney Williams in the end zone for a safety.
A 20-point fourth quarter, highlighted by two touchdowns by Thomas, put the game away.
Muir fell behind 7-0 on the first play of scrimmage when Williams pitched to tailback Anthony Ortega, who lofted a 79-yard touchdown pass to Brian Porter.
