MISSING FLYBOY: During the hoopla at the new John Wayne Airport terminal, one of the county’s better known fliers was absent. . . . Tony Aliengena, 12, whose 22,000-mile, globe-circling flight from the airport made headlines last year, wasn’t invited to any of the events, his mother says. Must have been a clerical error, says an airport spokeswoman. His name was on a supplementary guest list. . . . These days, the sixth-grader still flies but has no plans for any record-setting flights.
