Camarillo 48, Hueneme 6--Quarterback Corey Tucker scored on runs of 63 and three yards and gained 103 yards in nine carries to lead the host Scorpions (1-2).
Camarillo, employing an option attack, gained 311 total yards, all on the ground. Sophomore running back Fahali Campbell gained 98 yards in 11 carries, including touchdown runs of 31 and four yards.
Camarillo allowed just 102 total yards, 71 of which came on the Vikings’ last possession. Jaime Sandel blocked one Viking punt and recovered another in the end zone for a touchdown.
