LOS ALAMITOS — The McDonnell Douglas Employees’ Community Fund donated $5,000 to the Orange County High School of the Arts Foundation. Brian McEvoy, an employee of McDonnell Douglas, presented the check at a recent meeting of the foundation’s board of directors.
The grant will directly benefit students at the Orange County High School of the Arts through the artist-teacher program. The school is beginning its fourth year this month as Orange County’s only “Fame” high school, offering a comprehensive performing and visual arts education in a four-year program for talented students.
