SIMI VALLEY : Moped Rider Dies 3 Days After Being Struck by Car

Michelle Glassman, 20, of Simi Valley died Friday at Simi Adventist Hospital from injuries she suffered when a car struck her moped Tuesday night.
Glassman was riding her motorized bicycle east on Royal Avenue just west of Erringer Road when she was struck from behind as she slowed to make a left turn into a driveway, Sgt. Rex Jones of the Simi Valley Police Department said.
She is survived by her parents, Al and Dorothy Glassman of Simi Valley.
