A Guide to the Best of Southern California : SHOPTALK : Keeping the Dudley Do-Right Thing Alive
- Share via
TEEN-AGE NINJA TURTLES and an animated brat named Bart may be all the rage, but they’ll never replace Rocky and friends in the hearts of baby boomers. The Dudley Do-Right Emporium, in operation since 1971, features Bullwinkle any way you want him--bendable, hugable, wearable. If you love your fairy tales fractured, there are copies of scripts ($8) and story boards ($11.95) from creator Jay Ward’s collection, as well as rare animation cels from the original cartoons ($100 to $350).
Dudley Do-Right Emporium, 8200 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles; (213) 656-6550.
