A preliminary autopsy showed that a Northeast Missouri State football player who collapsed and died at a game Saturday suffered from a rare heart disease, officials at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., said.
Derringer Cade, 20, had a heart condition known as idiopathic hypertropic cardiomyopathy, a thickening of heart walls.
