Westminster Gang Fires on Rivals During Fight

WESTMINSTER — A street gang Wednesday fired gunshots at a rival gang during a fight behind an apartment complex, police said.
Although there had been reports that one gang member had been struck by gunfire, police found no evidence that anyone had been wounded.
The fight occurred at 3:44 p.m. behind an apartment complex at 8313 Westminster Blvd. when at least one of the seven or eight members of the Orphans gang fired shots at about seven Hard Times gang members, who were armed with baseball bats, police said.
