‘Westside Report’ Wins Cable TV News Award

Continental Cablevision’s “Westside Report,” a weekly half-hour newscast, has been awarded the Southern California Cable Assn.’s Diamond Award for Best Local News Program.

Executive producer of “Westside Report” is Marcelo M. Cruz, news director is Glen Gaither, managing editor is Alec Murdock and director is Bruce Germain.

The show airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Continental Cablevision’s Channel 37, and Fridays at 11:30 a.m. on Century Cable’s Channel 3. Continental and Century serve nearly all of the Westside.
