“We’re like the Cardiac Kids in reverse, aren’t we?” California Coach Bruce Snyder said, referring to his team’s momentum swings during the course of a game.
The Bears (4-2), who play UCLA Saturday in Berkeley, have made a habit of falling behind early, rallying to take the lead, then barely hanging on to win, or losing.
If a team can stay close to Cal for three quarters, it would seem to have a high percentage chance of winning. The Bears have been outscored, 67-15, in the fourth quarter.
