Tour of Homes Fund-Raiser

Architects for Shelter will hold its second annual Home Tour Benefit Sunday at 11 a.m. to raise funds for the Ocean Park Community Center.
The tour begins at Janss Court, 1453 Third Street Promenade, and moves to various venues via bus. Among the stops during the three-hour tour are Cedric Gibbon’s retreat designed for film star Dolores del Rio, Irving Gill’s beach courtyard apartments and Peter Choat’s southwestern ranch.
Tickets are $100 each. Money raised will be earmarked for the center’s Programs for People Without Shelter, which is composed of five shelter programs benefiting battered women, runaway youths, mentally ill homeless and the adult homeless.
