O’Connell’s aides expect 200 people to attend the $25-per-person event at the home of Vivian Rosenmund, 2705 E. Pleasant Valley Road, in Oxnard on Thursday. The reception begins at 7:30 p.m.
O’Connell, who is running against Republican challenger Connie O’Shaughnessy of Santa Barbara, has raised $175,335 for his reelection campaign, according to his Sept. 30 campaign finance report.
O’Shaughnessy’s campaign finance reports show that her campaign raised $46,676 during the same period this year.
