NATION : Stabbing Linked to Test Grade

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Police charged an honor student, 16, with attempted homicide after he allegedly stabbed his high school physics teacher with a kitchen knife in an argument over a test grade. The teacher was listed as stable at Coral Springs Medical Center, a nursing supervisor said.
The straight-A student, whose name was not released, had met with David Pologruto, 41, a teacher at Taravella High School, in his classroom after school Tuesday, police said. He pulled out a large knife and stabbed the teacher, they said.
