South Africa’s sports federations agreed to unite in support of non-racial sport, as well as the end of apartheid, in order to be readmitted to the Olympics for the first time in three decades.
Meeting in Harare, Zimbabwe, for two days with Africa’s Olympic officials, nearly 50 South African sports administrators pledged to work to end apartheid.
