TENNIS ROUNDUP : Chang Rallies From 4-0 in Third Set to Win

Michael Chang rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the last set to reach the final of the indoor tournament of Wembley, England.
Chang defeated Christian Bergstrom, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), and will face Jakob Hlasek for the championship of the $297,000 tournament.
Hlasek, the 1988 Wembley champion, scored a 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 semifinal victory over Diego Nargiso, who pulled a stomach muscle in the second set.
Chang fell behind 4-0 in the final set and was two points from elimination when Bergstrom led 30-0 while serving at 5-4, but he rallied to force the tiebreaker.
Steffi Graf beat Manuela Maleeva-Fragniere, 7-6 (7-3), 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, to advance to the championship of the New England Virginia Slims at Worcester, Mass.
Graf will play third-seeded Gabriela Sabatini, who upset second-seeded Mary Joe Fernandez, 6-2, 6-4, Saturday night.
Second-seeded Conchita Martinez of Spain, who has won titles at two of her past three tournaments, defeated Natalia Medvedeva of the Soviet Union, 7-5, 6-1, to advance to the final of the Jell-O Tennis Classic in Indianapolis. Martinez will play Leila Meshki, who defeated Katerina Maleeva, 6-2, 6-4.
