Heisajoy Beats Jazzing Hi to Win Classic

CYPRESS — Heisajoy scored a victory by a head over Jazzing Hi in the $172,000 Breeders Championship Classic for quarter horses Saturday at Los Alamitos Race Course.
Tee Roy Reb finished third, another nose back. Defending world champion See Me Do It, the the favorite at 4-5, was fourth.
Dash For Speed, the second choice, was sixth.
Heisajoy, a five-year-old gelding, ran the 440 yards in 21.47 seconds. He paid $15 for the victory.
Heisajoy, ridden by James Lackey and trained by H.L. Hooper, scored his 14th victory in 22 starts.
