Nationalists appeared headed for victory over Communists in Bosnia-Hercegovina’s first free elections in more than half a century. With 20% of the vote counted in the Yugoslav republic, the Serbian Democratic Alliance, the Croatian Democratic Union and the Muslim Union for Democratic Action were running well ahead of the Communist Party and Prime Minister Ante Markovic’s Alliance of Reform Forces.
