YPSILANTI, Mich. — A cat chewed two fingers off a 2-month-old girl’s hand and authorities are considering whether to charge a baby-sitter with child neglect.
Sara Elizabeth Culler’s fingers were retrieved from the cat’s stomach this week, but they were too badly damaged to reattach, the girl’s father, Tom Culler, said.
The baby-sitter, whose name was withheld pending any formal charges, operated a day-care center from her home in Pittsfield Township.
