LAGUNA BEACH : Volunteers Sought to Fill City Posts

The city is looking for residents to fill up to 23 committee posts that will open up next month.
One of those is on the city’s design review board. Board Chairman Jeffrey Powers was named by the City c ouncil this week to the Planning Commission.
The other openings are on six committees--parking, traffic and circulation, environmental safety, housing, human affairs, recreation and cable TV.
The deadline to submit applications is Jan. 17. Interviews will be conducted by the City Council on Jan. 22.
In February, appointments will be made to the design review and personnel boards.
