AIR TRAFFIC: Holiday air traffic is expected to peak Saturday at the expanded John Wayne Airport, exceeding the 15,500 passengers who moved through the terminal last Dec. 22. The number will decline gradually to Christmas Day, then increase again. “We expect a little bit more (traffic) than last year, but . . . we don’t expect any problems,” a spokeswoman said.
