Dominguez Hills Rolls to 88-76 Win

The Cal State Dominguez Hills men’s basketball team rolled to its fifth consecutive victory Saturday night by defeating The Master’s College, 88-76, in Santa Clarita.
The win improved the Toros’ record to 7-4 after a 2-4 start. The Master’s dropped to 7-5.
Six Toros scored in double figures, led by senior guard Robert Barksdale and junior forward Michael Moore with 15 points apiece. Moore also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
Keith Billingslea (13 points), Sal Serrano (12), Vincent Washington (12) and Norman Francis (10) were the other Toros in double figures.
The Toros led from the outset, but held only a one-point lead, 39-38, at halftime. CSUDH trailed briefly at 58-57 with 9:32 to play, but went on a 6-0 run to take a 63-58 lead.
The Toros shot 32 free throws in the second half and 49 for the game, connecting on 81%.
