Westinghouse Electric Corp.: The Pittsburgh-based conglomerate’s fourth-quarter profit increased 5% to $284 million, as its revenue edged up to $3.7 billion from $3.6 billion in the year-ago period. For all of 1990, earnings rose 8% to $1 billion on revenue of $12.9 billion, up slightly. The company cited “solid gains” in all sectors.
