Back From Israel: Jackie Mason says his first news conference in Tel Aviv last week was interrupted by an Iraqi missile attack. “I felt in danger very much,” he said upon returning to New York. “I tried to be philosophical about it but I can’t deny that it’s frightening.” Mason stopped his one-man Broadway show and spent three days in Israel last week on a goodwill visit. “I went there to cheer them up and they ended up cheering me. I was the one falling apart,” he said.
