Citadel Holding Corp.: The Glendale parent of Fidelity Federal Bank said fourth-quarter earnings rose 22% to $4.4 million. For the year, profit jumped 188% to $23.3 million. Loan and real estate loss provisions were increased by $3.8 million in the quarter and $12.6 million for the year, compared to $900,000 and $9.2 million, in the respective 1989 periods. Citadel attributed the profit gains primarily to the increase in its interest-rate spread.
