Pasadena : Bench Dedicated to Activist

A rock sculpture bench, designed by California ceramist Pattie Ferber, will be dedicated to the memory of Betty C. Hogoboom, 70, a longtime Pasadena community activist who died Jan. 22 of cancer.
A ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in San Rafael Park on Colorado Boulevard and Glen Summer Road.
