Firefighters Find Man’s Body in Ruins of House

Los Angeles firefighters found the body of a man while battling a “possible arson” blaze in a vacant Echo Park house.
After firefighters extinguished the blaze at 11:06 p.m. Wednesday, they found the body of an unidentified 43-year-old man believed to be a transient living in the house, said Los Angeles city firefighter Gil Espinoza.
The cause of the blaze at 2014 Sunset Blvd. is under investigation, Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said.
