UPI Employees to Again Vote on Wage Cut: Employees of United Press International who are members of the Wire Service Guild will vote this month on a proposal to extend a 35% wage cut for another three months, but at less severe amounts, UPI and the guild said. UPI also said the sale of the financially troubled news service is probable by May, when the additional 90-day period of reduced wages, pending union approval, would end.
