Delta Will Drop Long Beach Service: Delta Air Lines will drop the service March 31, becoming the fourth airline to stop service from Long Beach in the past 12 months. Delta blamed low ridership and a soft economy. The Atlanta-based airline said it will reduce the number of daily flights from Long Beach to two from four on March 2.
