COSTA MESA : Applicants Sought for Federal Grants

The city is now accepting applications from local nonprofit organizations that want to be considered for the federal Community Development Block Grant program.
Limited funds are available on a competitive basis to organizations that serve or want to serve city residents.
Funding is on a year-to-year basis, and all organizations that are selected must meet and follow the guidelines set by the federal Office of Management and Budget to spend the money.
Applications are available from the Housing and Community Development Division at City Hall, 77 Fair Drive. Deadline is 4 p.m. March 8. For more information, call (714) 754-5692.
