Resident Sounds Off on Flight Pattern

James Quinn’s article Feb. 11 about the expansion of Burbank Airport fails to take into consideration the impact on Valley residents. But then nobody at Burbank Airport seems to take that into consideration either. We have lived in this house and this North Hollywood neighborhood for 40 years. It was quiet until the sudden appearance of the landing and takeoff flight pattern right overhead. The planes roar by as they land and screech overhead as they take off. We are hoping that USAir will not be replaced at Burbank and that by some miracle peace and quiet will be restored.
