Nine for ‘Night’: The verdict is in--”Night Court” will have a ninth season. NBC has ordered 22 more episodes of the half-hour comedy, which ranks second only to “Cheers” as the longest-running comedy series currently on the air. It debuted in January, 1984. (“Cheers” started in 1982.) “Night Court” wraps production for this season’s 24 shows on March 22.
