Arco Funds: The Los Angeles Theatre Center will receive $400,000 over the next two years from the Arco Foundation. It’s the first major grant to the downtown theater company since the Los Angeles City Council told the organization a month ago not to request any more city money for building maintenance. With this latest gift, the total amount of Arco’s grants to the theater climbs to more than $1.3 million.
