Reagan’s Support for Brady Bill
No one should be very surprised at former President Reagan’s support for the Brady Bill. After all, the proponents of this bill promise a significant reduction in urban violence and the saving of thousands of lives, all at no cost to society other than the minor inconveniencing of a few people. Ronald Reagan has always been a sucker for a free lunch. Does anyone else remember “supply-side economics” or savings and loan deregulation?
