Royster Gets 106 Yards in Scrimmage

Junior tailback Mazio Royster rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown in 14 carries, and sophomore quarterback Reggie Perry passed for 120 yards and a touchdown Saturday during an intrasquad scrimmage at USC.

Sophomore tailback Deon Strother ran for 66 yards in 16 carries and caught a 65-yard touchdown pass from Perry, who completed five of nine passes during a 135-play scrimmage that was dominated by running.

Sophomore Curtis Conway, being tried at quarterback after playing flanker last season, completed four of 13 passes for 63 yards and a touchdown and carried 14 times for 55 yards.
