You are condoning the efforts of a fly-by-night, gutter-level rebel operating beyond the law, much the same as the graffiti gangs.
When The Times publicizes such an underground effort, it further polarizes the sides in the flap surrounding the chief. Instead, The Times should use its clout to emphasize truce and get the city back on track.
