Wang Laboratories Inc.: The computer company reported a third-quarter net loss of $48.9 million, compared to a loss of $146.9 million for the year-ago period. Revenue was $499.7 million, compared to $593.5 million last year. The Lowell, Mass.-based company said the recession, the Gulf War and continued weakness in the computer industry dampened revenue and earnings.
