The Soviet Union won its sixth consecutive game in the World Hockey Championships at Tampere, Finland, beating Czechoslovakia, 6-2.
Team USA tied Germany, 4-4, at Tampere. The Americans will play Finland Sunday for that last berth in the medal round.
