And in the morning, Sunday mornings, I would read the paper, if the baby stopped crying and barfing. I saved the Book Review for last, to savor, to savor.
One Sunday there were the words of Robert Ward, oh the words, all the words. And I knew, yes I knew, no, wait, I didn’t know, didn’t have a clue.
But then the baby cried and I felt like a really big person had squeezed my heart, so I never found out.
