Costa Mesa’s Schwartz Wins Four-Lap Main Event

COSTA MESA — Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event in front of 3,796 in the weekly speedway motorcycle program at the Orange County Fairgrounds Friday.

Josh Larsen of Newport Beach was second, Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano was third and Steve Lucero of Riverside was fourth.

Robert Pfetzing of Santa Ana won the eight-lap handicap main event. Oxley was second, Larsen was third, Schwartz was fourth, Scott Brant of Riverside was fifth, Louis Kossuth of Diamond Bar was sixth, John Aden of Apple Valley was seventh and Billy Ray of Topanga was eighth.
