ATI Medical Finds New Buyer for Software Unit
- Share via
ATI Medical Inc. said it found a different proposed buyer of its CAMS Inc. software subsidiary.
ATI, a Glendale-based company that mainly rents medical equipment to hospitals, said it tentatively agreed to sell CAMS to a Phoenix investor group. The purchase would be made with cash and notes, but the amount was not disclosed. The new agreement replaces an earlier pact, announced last month, in which ATI agreed to sell CAMS to a Georgia investment group. CAMS’ software helps computers monitor equipment usage and inventory for hospitals.
