The Verdict on Vieira: Meredith Vieira will be a correspondent on “Verdict,” a new CBS News series being given an eight-week tryout this summer. Vieira recently left “60 Minutes” in a dispute over her workload during pregnancy. “Verdict” features coverage of real-life trials, with no re-enactments.
